1 November 2021 - Online application for reception places opens
15 January 2022 - Online application for reception places closes
19 April 2022 - Allocation of places made
3 May 2022 - Deadline for accepting places
16-20 May 2022 - First round Continuing Interest
20-24 June 2022 - Second round Continuing Interest

Appeals
Parents now need to set up an appeals account in order to appeal. The online appeals portal is the same for all parents and is found here: School Admission Appeal | Hertfordshire County Council.
Hertfordshire parents can access the codes they need in order to set up an appeals account via their admissions account. They can see them on the page where they are told their allocation.
Parents who live out-of-county or who applied on paper will need to contact Hertfordshire County Council’s Customer Service Centre on 0300 123 4043 in order to obtain their registration details to gain access. These they will be sent via automated email.
Where you applied direct to the school (an In-Year admission), the Hertfordshire County Council Admissions and Transport team will send you your registration details so they can create an account and lodge an appeal. Contact us if you have not received these.
Please be aware that parent guidance for appeals is found solely on Hertfordshire County Council’s web pages now. There is no longer a published document.

As a group of Berkhamsted schools, we have agreed the following timeline for applications to Nursery, for children born between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019.
Our Admissions Policy, detailing the oversubscription criteria to be used if there are more applications than spaces, is below.
| Monday 21 February 2022 | Nursery applications open | Application via our online form. A paper copy is available on request |
| Friday 25 March 2022 | Nursery applications close for on-time applications | Applications can be accepted at any point after this date, but will be dealt with after on time applications |
| Friday 22 April 2022 | Nursery places are offered to families by email | |
| Friday 29 April 2022 | Deadline for accepting Nursery places | From 29 April onwards, we can continue to accept applications and allocate Nursery places to children, based on availability |

As a voluntary aided school, we are our own admissions authority. You should apply direct to the school, if you are interested in applying for a place. During summer holidays, contact the school office via email admin@victoria.herts.sch.uk.
