Welcome back and a Happy New Year to all our families.  It maybe a rather cold start to the term but we would like to warmly welcome all our children and families back for the Spring Term. We hope you had a restful and enjoyable break and are ready for an exciting term ahead.

Parable of the Mustard SeedFlourishing tree
To start our new year worship, the children revisited The Parable of the Mustard Seed as this underpins our vision and values.  We explored that a parable is a short teaching of Jesus explaining what the Kingdom of God (or Kingdom of Heaven) is like—something that begins very small but grows into something great and far-reaching.

We reflected on what great things we wanted to achieve in our learning and wider life as well as how we could provide for others like the tree did for the birds that nested in it's branches.  Most of the children wanted to do small acts of kindness and to make others happy, which is a great start to the year.

Watch Us Grow
We are excited for 2026, where we will be sharing on our Instagram, all the brilliant things our children achieve. Every time someone in the school goes above and beyond in their work, living the values or generally wowing staff at school, we will capture this through our Watch us Grow celebration board.  We can't wait to show how your children are flourishing at Victoria.
