Kindness Ambassadors and Spiritual Ambassadors
We had our first meeting with the Kindness Ambassadors to talk about their mission to spread kindness in class, school and the wider community. We also starting to get ideas together on how to promote kindness to everyone, including deciding which charity to donate our Harvest donations to. Visit our web page to see who our new ambassadors are and look out for them on the playground. During Celebration Worship the Spiritual Ambassadors were announced and they will be having their first meeting with Ms Roberts soon. Thank you to everyone who put in an application they were all very detailed, with lots of thoughtful ideas.
Prayer Bears
Prayer Bears will be coming home with your child soon. For all our new families this is a lovely opportunity to share with your class how you have shown our values or write a prayer/message for class worship. The bears were very popular last year and we had lots of special messages.
Footpath Update
We are very grateful for the continued efforts of the families at Victoria in getting the flooded pathway resolved. Hopefully no more soggy socks or DIY stepping stones on wet days.
Message from Mrs Lawrence:
"May I also add my thanks to you and the team, on behalf of Victoria School parents, for sorting this problem. I have been trying to find a solution to the issue for the last 3 or 4 years. During that time, we have written to various local MPs and Councillors so I must thank Victoria Collins MP and her team for their contribution here. Thank you to all concerned.
The attached picture was taken on 11th September after a heavy rain storm. As you can see, there were only small puddles either side of the new tarmac.
Let’s hope the children will never have wet feet again after walking to school!
Thank you again."
