I want to say a huge thank you to all our staff and pupils for getting through these last few days. I know it hasn’t been easy, especially trying to keep cool in extreme temperatures. Cold drinks, lollies and ice pops have been gratefully received from parents. The ASC also appreciated families making alternative arrangements to collect at 3pm on Thursday and Friday. This made a big difference to the wellbeing of all at ASC.

Flat Stan First Aid Workshop

We had Flat Stan come and work with our children to teach them basic first aid skills and how to keep them self safe in the home. The sessions were really informative and practical, introducing essential life skills that can make a difference.  They all got to know what to do in an emergency, including how to call for help, calling 999 and what to do for someone who is unconscious. Ask if they can teach you any of the skills they learnt today. Flat Stan Information

Kindness News-Pupil at Victoria shortlisted for Kind Pupil AwardKindness Awards

We were so excited to receive an email from the founder of 52 Lives, after we sent in a nomination for one of our YR2 Kindness Ambassadors. This is the message below:

I’m very pleased to let you know that Leo was shortlisted in our Kind Pupil Award, which means he will be receiving a highly commended certificate and letter in the post. I have sent it to you and it should arrive either today or tomorrow. We received nominations from all over the country and only a handful of children were shortlisted so it is a wonderful achievement.
Thank you so much for nominating him!
Best wishes
Jaime

I appreciate it all very much! It has been an absolute joy being with your children this year. I wish them all the best in year two. I will miss them all! Hopefully, I'll see some of you on the high street or on a hike around the Chiltern villages. Much love, Mrs Neuss.
