School of Kindness

We had a final Kindness Ambassador meeting with schools around the country to celebrate all the acts of kindness. Thank you to our wonderful Kindness Ambassadors who have helped raise funds for 52lives, Hospice of St Francis, supported the local foodbank and went around promoting acts of kindness to all the children at Victoria. We are proud to announce we have achieved the award of accredited School of Kindness for 2025/2026.
YR2 Leavers Assembly
The YR2 children put on a fabulous show on Tuesday. We were transported through time exploring all the enrichment and learning experiences, they had experienced since joining Victoria. The songs were performed at such a high standard, with a YR1 commenting 'that was a real show'. Thank you for all the memories over the years and we will miss you when you move to your new schools.
Staff Leavers and Movers
We are sad to say goodbye to Ms Sharpley who has been working as a Midday Supervisor and at ASC. She is moving out of the area and has found a position working locally near her home. I am sure you will want to wish her all the best.
We also have Ms Stevens who is moving to teach at Thomas Coram. Our YR2's are very excited as they have a familiar face moving with them as she will be teaching in YR3.
Lost Property
Staff will be clearing up their classrooms next week, so hopefully any named lost property will find it's way back to the original owner. YR2 families, if you could have a final check to see if there are any reading books, library books or anything else that may need to be returned before they leave.
Little Wandle Books
Some of the TAs spent an afternoon going through all the reading book packs. We have managed to find most of the missing books or had spares to replace lost ones. However, can Reception and YR1 families return any reading books you have before the end of next week.
